Australian wildlife really packs a punch 👊. Don't be fooled by the cute and fluffy reputation. Like many small Australian mammals, Quenda (Southern Brown Bandicoot) can be feisty 🥊. According to AWC Field Ecologist, Nicola Palmer, this is normal behaviour for males: “It’s not unusual for us to catch them with wounds on their back or missing an eye/ear/tail. Here is one of 15 Woylies (endangered in WA) translocated by AWC from Whiteman Park in Perth to Mt Gibson Wildlife Sanctuary in WA’s mid-west last month.
