So incredibly cool to get to play Vassar Clements fiddle today. Talk about learning a lot from an instrument, the way it’s set up makes you have to play insanely lightly, I kept accidentally bearing down too hard with my bow and making the tone crack. It still had the original strings on it and everything. Pretty wild to put my fingers on that fingerboard when you think of all the groundbreaking stuff that’s been played and recorded on it.
